The whole experience is two hours.

Thing to Know


1. Please use this website’s online reservation system for parties of 6 and below.
2. Please write to us using the Contact page for parties of 8 and above, or if you would like to book the whole space.
3. To provide the best experience possible, Dining in the Dark only accepts reservations from parties with an even number of guests except for special events. Please understand that we do not serve parties with an odd number of guests.
4. Please use the Contact page to connect with us if you have any other special requirements or questions.
5. A friendly reminder, there is a chance you may have to share table with someone else. Within the darkness you may even find your true love or even a new best friend. Go on, take your chances and tell our staff: “I request for joined tables.”

Online Payments, Refunds, and Transfers


1. All online payments will be processed using the Pay2Go payment platform.
2. For any changes or cancellations, guests must call or email 3 days prior reservation date. A refund will be reinstated after a 5% surcharge for processing and handling fee for any cancellations.
For example: If your booking is for the 4th Sept, changes and cancellations must be made on the 1st Sept in order to receive the full refund.
3. Reservation time can no longer be changed within 1 or 2 days prior of the reservation date. For any cancellations, 50% of the initial reservation fee will be deducted for process and handling fee and cost of food already prepared by the kitchen. We recommend to maybe give the reservation to friends or family if unable to make it due to unexpected changes.
For example: Booking is for 4th Sept and guests calls or emails in on the 2nd or 3rd of Sept. Then 50% of the initial booking fee paid will be refunded. However, change of date or time will no longer be permitted.
4. On the day of the reservation, change of date or cancellation will not be permitted. If guest still insist to cancel, the initial booking fee will not be refunded. If guest are running late and may require change in their reservation time then they must first notify the restaurant through phone. We will then do our best and assist in arranging a new time slow within the same day if possible.
5. About refund process, we will apply to financial institutions within seven working days, but the date of actual refund is still in accordance with the provisions of the issuing bank.
6. You may transfer your reservation by giving another person the reservation number on your confirmation email.
7. Please call or e-mail ahead of time to notify us of any changes in main course orders or food preferences due to a transfer of your reservation.
8. If there are unexpected natural occurrence or disasters and suspension of schools and office is issued by the Government, D.I.T.D will also be CLOSED due to the safety of you, our beloved guests, and our staff. We will re-arrange a different reservation date for you or refund for any cancellations.

Darkness Experience Rules


1. To maintain an entirely dark experience, all light-emitting or reflective items must be placed in our lockers before you enter the space.
2. To ensure the safety of all diners, please follow all directions given by staff members in the dining space. Do not leave your seat without notice. If you need to leave briefly, use the restroom, or anything else, please tell a staff member. We reserve the right to refuse service and escort you from the premises if you do not follow staff member directions; no refund will be given in this situation.
3. Please dress in a way that feels comfortable to you for such an experience.
4. If you feel uncomfortable or ill due to the darkness, please tell a staff member so you can be escorted out for a short break.
5. For the safety and protection of all diners, the entire meal is monitored by night-vision cameras. The footage will only be viewed when necessary.
6. The darkness experience lasts 70-90 minutes, a length of time that experts have recommended as appropriate for being in total darkness.
7. For your safety and to ensure a good experience for all, we do not recommend women who are over 28 weeks into pregnancy and children under 18 to participate in the experience.
8. Because most of this experience will be within complete darkness and if you have prior history or symptoms of claustrophobia or nyctophobia, may we remind you please be mindful of your health and reconsider booking when you are feeling more confident.
9. Dining in the Dark does not provide corkage service.
